Chapa Express Train operates the Hanoi - Lao Cai - Hanoi overnight route, covering approximately 294 km in around 7 hours 55 minutes. The 2026 information pack lists train schedules SP3 and SP7 from Hanoi to Lao Cai, and SP4 and SP8 from Lao Cai to Hanoi.
